Reduction of Academic fees (RTA -in Italian-)

 

The application for reduction of academic fees must be submitted by the following dates:

 

  • reduction request for the entire academic year:

 

  1. from 01/04 to 30/06 of the previous year: by the 15th  of the following month with respect to the delivery of the material, the outcome of the request will be communicated to the student;
  2. from 01/09 to 15/09: by the end of September the student will be notified of the outcome of the request;

 

  • reduction request for the second semester: from 01/11 to 15/01: by the end of January the student will be informed of the outcome of the request;

 

 

Reduction requests will not be accepted for students of Diplomas and specialization courses and for auditory and / or guest students.

 

For the Master’s programs, refer to the regulations of each program.

 

The RTA granted for the Doctorate is valid for the entire cycle but does not apply to enrollment or to any “annual extension”; in those cases the same delivery terms as the other study programs are provided.

 

 

Below is the material to be presented:

 

Lay people

 

First request

 

  • Form duly completed, together with the photograph;
  • Personal presentation letter;
  • Letter of presentation from an ecclesiastical authority;
  • Certification of income earned the previous year (ISEE model);
  • Copy of study certificates of the degree prior to the program they intend to enroll in;

 

Renewal

 

  • Form duly completed, together with the photograph;
  • Certificate attesting the weighted average of the academic year ended (it is necessary to have obtained, in the previous academic year, an academic average equal to or greater than 8.5);
  • Certification of income earned the previous year (ISEE model);

 

 

Religious

 

First request

 

  • Form duly completed, together with the photograph;
  • Personal presentation letter;
  • Letter of presentation from the Bishop or religious superior;
  • Certificate of subjects sustained prior to the program to which he intends to enroll;

 

Renewal

 

  • Form duly completed, together with the photograph;
  • Certificate attesting the weighted average of the academic year ended (it is necessary to have obtained, in the previous academic year, an academic average equal to or greater than 8.5);
  • Letter requesting the renewal of the Bishop or religious superior;

 

 

The above documentation must be delivered to the RTA office by the dates indicated. Only requests which documentation is complete will be accepted.

 

It is possible to deliver by hand or send the documentation; in this case the postmark will be used to comply with the terms; in case of sending by post, it is necessary to anticipate a copy of the documents by fax or e-mail.

 

 

Once the documentation is received, the process will be as follows:

 

  • Reception and protocol of each applicant’s documents at the RTA office;
  • Evaluation by the RTA Committee;
  • Written answer concerning the outcome of the request;

 

The reduction of academic fees applies only to academic fees; therefore the application on the annual registration (inscription) and on every other type of tax and payment is excluded.
