All the academic activities of the Athenaeum aim to accomplish its mission: educating evangelisers, Christian leaders, clerics, and lay people to place themselves in the service of the Church, bearing witness to the mystery of Christ; creating lines of Christian thought to imbue society with a Christian spirit, in full communion with the Magisterium of the Church and in response to the existential and theoretical issues of humankind. To accomplish this mission, we provide prospective students with a wide and diversified range of courses in our Faculties and Institutes. In our course curricula, we seek to put into practice and harmonise the following principles: a systematic, structured, and sound education; a comprehensive education, in line with our mission; a focus on the teachings of the Church; a continuous dialogue with contemporary culture and society, based on our Christian identity; the development of Christian leadership skills in order to better contribute to evangelisation; and a strong interdisciplinary approach.
