Ecclesiological and Mariological Module

Ecclesiological and Mariological Module

Starting from the ecclesiology of communion developed in the Second Vatican Council, the module takes up the salient points of the Conciliar and Post-Conciliar Magisterium about the laity and women, to open paths of creative, faithful, and prophetic application. The module also presents the figure of Mary starting from the Lumen Gentium and the development of dogma, focusing on the way in which Mariology illuminates the mission of women in the Church and the Mystery of the Church itself.

At the end of the module, the student will be able to understand what principles and criteria must guide the start of processes that give greater space to women in ecclesial structures.
