This is an international academic institution that is engaged in continuing spiritual, theological, and pastoral education of priests, who are “consecrated to preach the Gospel and shepherd the faithful and to celebrate divine worship, so that they are true priests of the New Testament” (Lumen Gentium, 28.).
Aware of the importance of the vocation and mission of priests, as “co-workers of God” (1 Corinthians 3:9) in salvation, the Institute provides students with the tools to undertake continuing education, as referred to in Pastores Dabo Vobis (70.).
The Institute finds its inspiration in the pastoral activity and missionary spirituality of Evangelii Gaudium, highlighting the need for announcing the joy of the Gospel to a world that is thirsty for God’s message and salvation (cf. Evangelii Gaudium, 1.-3.).
The goal of the Institute is to renew priestly life in its various dimensions and, in particular, to “fan into flame the gift of God” (2 Timothy 1:6) that priests receive in order to place it in the service of the Church and of humankind.
Each year, the Institute provides three courses that promote different aspects of pastoral charity:
- international seminary formators’ course;
- Holy Land priestly renewal course;
- exorcism and prayer of liberation course.
Our commitment to offering an integral formation to our students is made possible through the generosity of those who support our work every day. Every donation, whether small or large, helps us to fund scholarships, support academic research, and further the development of our university.
A heartfelt thank you to our benefactors!
