The Library owns over 200.000 books, 934 printed periodicals and a wide range of electronic resources. In addition, it houses various special collections devoted to topical areas:
- The Carotenuto Collection devoted to psychology and pedagogy, once Professor Aldo Carotenuto’s private library.
- The ABI Collection, courtesy of the Italian Bank Association.
- The De la Torre Villar Collection: on Latin American and Mexican history; once the private library of renowned Mexican historian Ernesto de la Torre Villar.
- The Arosio Collection on medieval studies and theology; the late Professor Marco Arosio’s private library.
- The Olmi Collection on communication sciences; once Professor Massimo Olmi’s private library.
- The Petruzzellis Collection on speculative philosophy; once Professor Nicola Petruzzelli’s private library.
