From this perspective, mental health is approached not only as a healthcare issue, but also as a crossroads of anthropology, relationality, law, health policy, and social responsibility.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"129\" data-end=\"488\"><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:26\"><strong>Learning objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1371\">The Course aims to provide participants with the tools to understand, in a rigorous and interdisciplinary way, the new challenges related to mental health: the relationship between mind, brain, and person; psychological vulnerability; decision-making freedom; human dignity; the role of the family, the community, and institutions; and the ethical implications of diagnostic and therapeutic practices.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1373\" data-end=\"1625\">The approach will be interdisciplinary, bringing into dialogue neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, philosophy, bioethics, law, philosophical anthropology, and theology, with particular attention to the human person in his or her unity and complexity.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:36\"><\/h3>\r\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:36\"><strong>Structure and methods of participation<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"1663\" data-end=\"1815\">he Course lasts one academic year (<strong data-start=\"1699\" data-end=\"1729\">September 2026 \u2013 June 2027<\/strong>), includes <strong data-start=\"1741\" data-end=\"1782\">10 monthly sessions of two hours each<\/strong>, and grants <strong data-start=\"1795\" data-end=\"1814\">10 ECTS credits<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1817\" data-end=\"1928\">Classes will be held on <strong data-start=\"1841\" data-end=\"1890\">Friday afternoons from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.<\/strong> and may be attended in three formats:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"2033\">\r\n \t<li data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"1945\"><strong data-start=\"1932\" data-end=\"1945\">in person<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li data-start=\"1946\" data-end=\"1987\"><strong data-start=\"1948\" data-end=\"1970\">online synchronous<\/strong> (live streaming)<\/li>\r\n \t<li data-start=\"1988\" data-end=\"2033\"><strong data-start=\"1990\" data-end=\"2013\">online asynchronous<\/strong> (recorded sessions)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<h3 data-start=\"2035\" data-end=\"2047\"><strong data-start=\"2035\" data-end=\"2047\">Schedule<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"2049\" data-end=\"2097\"><strong data-start=\"2049\" data-end=\"2067\">Course begins:<\/strong> Friday, <strong data-start=\"2076\" data-end=\"2097\">25 September 2026<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2232\"><strong data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2108\">2026:<\/strong> 25 September, 23 October, 20 November, 18 December<br data-start=\"2159\" data-end=\"2162\" \/><strong data-start=\"2162\" data-end=\"2171\">2027:<\/strong> 22 January, 19 February, 18 March, 23 April, 21 May, 18 June<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3 data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"1094\"><\/h3>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"1094\"><strong>Admission Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"2262\" data-end=\"2496\">The Course is intended for <strong data-start=\"2289\" data-end=\"2404\">physicians, bioethicists, philosophers, theologians, jurists, economists, educators, and cultural professionals<\/strong> interested in exploring the new scenarios of neurobioethics and the frontiers of longevity.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2498\" data-end=\"2678\">To enroll, applicants must hold at least a <strong data-start=\"2541\" data-end=\"2564\">high school diploma<\/strong>.
