Prof. P. David Koonce, LC, Confirmed as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs for a Third Term at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum
The Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum is pleased to announce the reconfirmation of Prof. P. David Koonce, LC, as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs for a third consecutive three-year term. This appointment will take effect on July 1, 2025.
Prof. P. David Koonce, LC, serves as an Associate Professor of Theology at the Athenaeum. His areas of interest and specialization include Fundamental Theology, Theology of Revelation, Theological Methodology, Trinitarian Theology, and the thought of J.H. Newman. Over the years, he has taught numerous courses and seminars, including “John Henry Newman, Ā«An Essay on the Development of Christian DoctrineĀ» and other writings,” “The Great Theological Debates, from Thomas Aquinas to Trent,” and “Fundamental Theology.” He is also the author of “Saldi nella Fede. Temi scelti di teologia fondamentale” (Firm in Faith. Selected Themes in Fundamental Theology).
