The Human Resources Department was established in February 2013 to respond to the need for better human resource management and to ensure the excellence of work performance and services offered at the University.

The work carried out in the department, which is currently under the direction of the Head, Dr Sara Lovecchio, is aimed at ensuring the correct day-to-day management of personnel in administrative terms, and at the same time, developing human resources in terms of training and evaluation. The latter two activities are carried out through the organisation of training courses (for safety in the workplace, which are compulsory by law, and for the improvement of professional and transversal skills) and the launch of the Performance Assessment Process in 2014, which came into full swing in the 2015-2016 academic year.
