Library
The Pius XII Library at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum possesses more than 180,000 books including monographs, pamphlets and dissertations and receives around 1,000 periodical titles in current subscription or exchange.
The library’s collections are predominantly made up of documents belonging to the subject areas taught within the faculties.
The Library is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Services
The available services include lending out material in the Library, which can be done from Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and on Fridays from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. It is always advisable to enquire before going to the Library. Bibliographic consultations can also be booked by appointment, which will be provided remotely by email or telephone.

The library has been a member of the National Library Service since 2007 and has also joined ACNP – the Italian catalogue of periodicals.
In addition, the library participates in cooperation initiatives aimed at information exchange and resource sharing, such as ESSPER – the association for research in Italian periodicals in economics, social sciences and history.
