The application process is unique, whether it is for admission to a degree programme (Baccalaureate, Degree, Doctorate) or to other training programmes (Diplomas or Courses).

In order to enrol, each prospective student must follow these three steps:

  • fill in an initial contact form;
  • fill in an admission form;
  • pay the registration fee.

 

How to obtain a visa

Students from non-Schengen countries must apply to the Italian Embassy/Consulate in their own country to obtain an entry visa for study purposes.

Pursuant to the instructions of the Department for Culture and Education and the Vatican Secretariat of State, the applicant must complete the documents required to apply for an entry visa by affixing the stamp of the Secretariat of State.

Where to stay

For all Italian and international students, it is possible to stay at the Pontifical Maria Mater Ecclesiae International College, a centre for priestly training in Rome just 10 minutes from the Pontifical Ateneo Regina Apostolorum.

Recognition of degrees

APRA is a higher education institution canonically established and approved by the Apostolic See, with the right to confer academic degrees by authority of the Holy See, which has adhered to the European treaties concerning the European Higher Education Area and the Bologna Process.
