Prof. P. Marcelo Bravo, LC, Confirmed as Director of the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences
The Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum is pleased to announce the confirmation of Prof. P. Marcelo Bravo, LC, as Director of the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences (ISSR) of our Athenaeum. This appointment will take effect on July 1, 2025, and will be valid for one year, in accordance with article 14, 13° of the Statutes of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum.
Prof. P. Marcelo Bravo, LC, is an Associate Professor of Theology at our Athenaeum. His extensive expertise spans several crucial areas of contemporary theology, including Theology of Interreligious Dialogue, Dogmatic Theology, Philosophical Anthropology, and Comparative Religions. Among the courses and seminars he has taught are “Christianity and Religion,” “Fundamental Theology of Religious Pluralism,” “Christianity and Religions: Mission, Dialogue, and Theological Reflection,” and “Comparative History of Religions.” His academic contribution and dedication to teaching are of great value to the Athenaeum and to the formation of our students.
