UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights

The UNESCO Chair is an institution created within the Faculty of Bioethics of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum and the Faculty of Law of the European University of Rome to promote an exchange of ideas and the sharing of diverse experiences through dialogue among different countries, especially those in developing nations.

The Chair entails the analysis and deepening of bioethical issues in relation to human rights. This process is based on a Christian-inspired humanistic bioethics and is manifested through teaching, scientific research, and the promotion of activities for the dissemination of thought.
