The UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Right, part of the Institute of Bioethics and Human Rights of our Pontifical Athenaeum, established a new working group with the Global Forum on Law, Justice and Development.
The Working Group on Law and Technology (WGLT) operates at the intersection of law and technology, debating and researching cross-cutting issues such as ethics, public policy, and regulation of emerging technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, 3D Printing, Virtual and Augmented Reality, IoT, etc.).
Within this Working Group, we strive to
WGLT works in a multi-stakeholder context, bringing together governments, innovators, investors, business companies, civil society, scientists and all other actors passionate about justice, innovation and law to share knowledge, discuss ways forward, and engage in alliances and partnerships to accelerate our response to keep up with the pace of today’s rapid technological changes.
