APRA brings itinerant Shroud exhibit to San Giovanni dei Fiorentini
An extraordinary event between history, science and faith.
On the occasion of the Jubilee of Hope, the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum (APRA) and the Basilica of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini invite pilgrims and visitors to a unique experience: the exhibit âWho is the Man of the Shroud?â, a journey through history, science and spirituality to deepen the mystery of the Holy Cloth.
The Exhibit
From 10 March to 10 June, the Jubilee Basilica will host the travelling exhibition of the Shroud, which through five thematic strands – artistic, historical, biblical, scientific and mystery – will allow visitors to explore the Shroud and its profound spiritual significance. Images, reconstructions and explanatory panels will guide the public along a path of reflection and discovery, highlighting the link between the Shroud and the Gospel’s message of hope.
“The Shroud is a privileged way to come into contact with Jesus, the greatest path to faith and hope.”
Special attention is paid to accessibility, with a route equipped with tactile supports and specialised guides for blind visitors, so that everyone can fully enjoy this experience.
