April 13th Easter Concert at the Basilica dei Fiorentini in honour of the Shroud Exhibit
On the occasion of the XXVIII edition of the prestigious Easter Festival, the Basilica di San Giovanni Battista dei Fiorentini is preparing to host a musical event of great spiritual and cultural significance.
On April 13, 2025, at 8:30 PM, the Basilica will welcome an evocative Easter Concert, conceived as a tribute to the traveling exhibit “Who is the Man of the Shroud?“, organized and promoted by the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum and the Othonia Research Group, and open to visitors until June 10, 2025.
This initiative is part of the Easter Festival, founded in 1998 by the renowned director and set designer Enrico Castiglione, who this year as well, from April 12 to June 8, 2025, will offer its anticipated program of sacred music in the most important monumental churches and basilicas of Rome during the Easter period.
This special event gains further relevance within the context of the Jubilee Year and the activities promoted by APRA with the Patronage of the Dicastery for Evangelization. The Concert represents a further opportunity to experience an event that combines culture and spirituality, in line with the mission of the Athenaeum.
The Basilica di San Giovanni Battista dei Fiorentini, to whom we extend our renewed thanks, will open its doors to welcome the public in this moment of Lenten reflection and celebration through music.
