15th Edition of the Marco Arosio Prize (2025) has been announced
It is with great enthusiasm that the Regina Apostolorum Pontifical Athenaeum (APRA) announces the 15th edition (2025) of the prestigious Marco Arosio Prize. This award aims to enhance research in the field of medieval philosophy and theology, promoting the talent of young scholars.
The Prize will be awarded to an unpublished or published monograph between September 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025. Works must have a maximum length of twenty (20) folders (Times New Roman 12 font, line spacing 1) and may be written in Italian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese or German.
Criteria for Participation and Content
The competition is reserved for university graduates who have not exceeded forty (40) years of age at the time of submission of the application.
The content of the works should focus on philosophical and theological instances related to the medieval period (5th-15th centuries) from a historical perspective. The Jury reserves the unquestionable right to express an opinion on the admission of contributions whose content is chronologically located in neighboring periods. Only one entry per author is allowed.
Modalities and Deadlines for Participation
The works and the completed entry form should be sent by e-mail to premio.arosio@upra.org in PDF and Word format.
In addition, two hard copies of the work must be sent by registered mail or hand-delivered no later than January 31, 2026 to the following address:

Please note that applications sent or delivered after the deadline will not be considered for this edition of the Prize. The sender and the indication “Marco Arosio Prize 2025” must appear on the envelope. Please be advised that submitted materials will not be returned.
