March 25: Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum Feast Day

Today, on the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum (APRA) celebrates its feast day—a significant moment for the entire academic community.

The day opened with Holy Mass presided over by H.E. Bishop Parra Peña. We thank him for his presence and for the inspiring words offered during his homily, in which he emphasized the importance of evangelizing through academic education.

On this occasion, the Athenaeum renews its commitment to the service of truth and the promotion of Christian culture through research, teaching, and formation, while remaining attentive to the challenges of contemporary society.

The feast also represents an opportunity to strengthen the shared commitment of faculty, students, and administrative staff, who are called to collaborate in building an environment where faith and reason engage in dialogue, and where every contribution supports the growth of a vibrant, open, and service-oriented community.

Furthermore, it is an occasion to renew the sense of belonging and the common mission of the Athenaeum.

Below and on our social media (Instagram and Facebook) , we share the Rector’s Message and some highlights of the day.
