Pontifical Scholarships

The Pontifical Scholarship Fund supports both lay and clerical students with outstanding academic qualifications, guaranteeing them access to the high-quality education offered by our Pontifical Athenaeum so that they can commit themselves to the evangelisation of culture, because ā€˜a faith that does not become culture is a faith that is not fully accepted, not fully thought out, not faithfully lived’ (St John Paul II).

The excellence we aim to achieve corresponds to the vision of our Pontifical Athenaeum, which stands out for its contribution to the evangelisation of culture through interdisciplinary research, innovative education, student engagement, growth through innovative programmes and the development of transferable skills.
The Christian apostles and leaders who are trained at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum are accompanied thanks to the generosity of our benefactors who, with their support, enable them to respond to this mission in the best possible way as credible witnesses of the Gospel.

The Pontifical Scholarships grant up to 50% of the academic fees (not including registration fees).

Requirements: demonstrate academic excellence with a grade point average of at least 92/100 or equivalent and a written presentation from the Bishop, religious superior or a lay professional.
