Tour2France 2025
We have now come to the end of this beautiful new edition 2025, which started from St. Peterās Square on the occasion of theĀ Jubilee of Sport, with participants also from past editions of the Tour To France and with Team APRA from the Rome Marathon.
In the solemnity of the Holy Trinity, together with the more than three thousand faithful present,Ā Pope Leo XIVĀ recalled three aspects that make sport āa precious means of human and Christian formationā, namely collaboration, the concreteness of being together and the art of defeat that opens to hope. The Pontiff considers it a truly ābeautifulā mission that the Church entrusts to sportspeople: to be a āreflection of God the Trinityā also for the good of their brothers and sisters. The Successor of Peter urges them to let themselves be involved āwith enthusiasm: as athletes, as trainers, as clubs, as groups, as familiesā.
Lastly, he refers to the Mother of Jesus, so discreet but so full of solicitude, of dynamism, of ārunningā towards God and others, as Pope Francis liked to recall.Ā āLet us ask her to accompany our labours and our impulses, and to direct them always to the best, until the greatest victory: that of eternity, the āinfinite fieldā where the game will no longer end and joy will be full.ā
