Multimedia Forum – How to apply
PARTICIPATION PROCESS
We recommend:
Your school can bring only 20 highly motivated students at the Forum and max. 5 teachers.
To request an invitation, please e mail us: [email protected] We will review your submission and let you know if there is space available.
Suggest a speaker
New Technology belongs to young generation that’s why we want one of your student to became part of our speakers at the forum and to experience the stage. If you know someone who belongs on the Forum stage, we want to hear from him. To suggest a speaker for the Forum Conference, please email us: [email protected]
We’re looking for students who are likely, in our judgment, to be a strong contributor to the Forum and/or the ideas discussed at the Forum — and/or projects that come out of the conferences.
Audition to select our speakers
An audition will take place at Auditorium Monday 7th March 2011 from 2.30 pm 7.00 pm to seek for: “Forum young speaker” to select among the students community 4 speakers for the Forum stage.
The 4 candidates we are looking for
- a student who is involved in how to present projects and multimedia content through new technologies (for ex. Youtube video or a personal blog);
- talent for connectiviness : talent is not restricted to technical skill (which typically can be taught) sometimes hybrid skills are more prepared to develop creativity and ideas showing us how to present new ways of learning, living and interconnect;
- a student who can explain us the nature of connection through a Social Network. On the web, a new “Friend” may be just a click away, but true connection is harder to find and express. How do we express human emotion through social network? But they always make wonder about the person on the other end of the link. Who was typing those words? What were they really looking for?
- a musician playing and composing with a computer.
