This is an introductory course to the Shroud of Turin, in which general elements of the Shroud studies are presented: an overview and a description of what the Shroud is, its history, scientific research in the various fields of study, the current methods of conservation, its relationship with the Christian faith, the different ways of teaching it and making it known. The course is aimed at clergy, laity, professors, researchers, journalists, and anyone else who may want to gain a deeper understanding of Shroud studies, using an interdisciplinary approach.
The course consists of eight lessons as follows:
