The course aims to help students understand the medical practice and its ethical implications, as well as develop the competence to judge ethical issues related to medicine. After a brief description of the typology of ethics committees, the course focuses attention on two central themes: the doctor/patient relationship and ethical issues relating to healthcare management at a social level.
