The seminar proposes a complete reading of the Letter to the Hebrews, the most original Christological treatise concerning the priesthood of Christ. After the introduction that aims to unravel the controversial aspects of the biblical text, both in the literary and thematic fields, the participants in the study will be able to give their contribution by testing themselves on passages proposed from time to time. In particular, we will focus on those biblical passages where the priestly function emerges in all its clarity and depth. We will try to clarify both the relationship of the Son with God and the relationship of Jesus with men. The paschal mystery constitutes the key to understanding the priestly role of Christ, unique and effective.
