A Christmas of Solidarity at the Athenaeum: Lunch for Those Most in Need
On Saturday, December 13, the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum renewed its commitment to the underprivileged by hosting its traditional Christmas Lunch. In an atmosphere of joy and fellowship, our academic and religious community served over 100 people in need, transforming the Athenaeum into a welcoming home for those living on the margins.
Taking a Stand for the Poor
This event is more than just a social gathering; it is a tangible sign of our commitment to the poor. As guided by the Magisterium, our institution feels the duty and mission to draw near to human suffering, placing charity at the heart of its identity. This commitment is strengthened year after year thanks to the invaluable collaboration of partners who share our Gospel values and mission of human advancement.
Distinguished Collaborations and a Sense of Community
The Athenaeum is honored to have collaborated once again with the Pellegrini Group, which, through its Foundation, is actively committed to fighting new forms of poverty and building authentic human relationships.
Special thanks also go to the local Panorama/IN’s Group for their invaluable support as an event partner. Their participation reflects the deep “sense of community” we strive to build together: a core value that unites diverse entities toward the single goal of the common good.
