The course will provide an understanding of the scientific, philosophical, ethical, and legal elements related to human life in the prenatal and perinatal phases. It will address biomedical practices (e.g., prenatal diagnosis and medicine, abortion, perinatal palliative care) that concern the human being at this stage of life, analyzing them from an interdisciplinary perspective, as is proper to Bioethics.
