Introduction
The course intends to introduce the student to the world of the principles and values of the social doctrine of the Church (SDC) in its applications to the bioethical issues that arise in the various social spheres: family, national and international community. In addition, the course illustrates the validity and convenience for an expert in bioethics to communicate using a universal language such as that used by the SDC, which allows for a fruitful dialogue within a society such as contemporary, multicultural and multi-religious. The course aims to illustrate in an organic way the fundamental contents of the social doctrine of the Church, highlighting the relationship between natural law and human rights and the correlative duties, which in their recognized universal character are an element of convergence and sharing between people and different religions. and cultures.
