Introduction

The course aims to refine the reasoning skills of the student in preparation for his philosophical studies and also in order to dialogue with contemporary culture. Through the study of the three great branches of classical logic – the logic of concept, the logic of enunciation and the logic of argumentation – the student will improve his ability to critically read philosophical texts, acquire a foundation on fundamental philosophical concepts, such as the being, the categories and the transcendentals and will also be able to identify and dismantle the most important logical fallacies.
