Introduction

This course aims to demonstrate the application of the structure and ethical orientation of the human person to the most fundamental dimensions of their necessarily social existence. The course proposes to show how the human person authentically and integrally develops within society, being faithful to their social nature, identifying with their natural sexual identity, in the physical-spiritual development of their human being, in truly human forms of interpersonal communion, thereby arriving at the identification of the characteristics of authentic human culture. In this journey, the course will seek to identify and evaluate the most relevant current phenomena to human existence and their contribution to true human culture. Among other dimensions of human life, this course analyzes and evaluates the economic phenomenon (both micro and macro) as an expression of human activity, values, and aspirations. In this sense, the course places the content of fundamental moral philosophy in an existential context and is complementary to the content of political philosophy, forming a speculative-practical unity of understanding of the human person and their destiny.
