This is a pastoral theology course focusing on the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). It aims to provide future confessors with practical tools and useful materials, reviewing principles and criteria, with reflective exercises and interactivity.

It addresses crucial issues such as the attitudes and behaviors of the confessor, true sorrow for sin, the crisis of the sense of sin in today’s culture, and the importance of prudence (memory, intelligence, docility, sagacity, deliberation, foresight/preparation, and prudence) in the role of the confessor. The various roles of the confessor (judge, doctor, teacher, and father) are explored and practical cases are analyzed. In addition, elements of moral theology will be touched upon in relation to cases and situations that confessors frequently encounter in their ministry.
