What is the Bible, and what does it tell us? What do we mean when we say that is has been revealed by God? How is it interpreted? By answering the first question, we aim to provide students with the necessary context to understand the sacred text: the history that tells, the geography and society in which this text was born, and how it has reached us. In response to the second question, we will study the concepts of canonicity, inspiration, and biblical truth. Finally, we will attempt to understand the correct way to interpret Sacred Scriptures and we will see some of the main methods of interpretation.
