The liturgical constitution Sacrosanctum Concilium, in calling the Church of our time to ensure serious liturgical training of clergy and faithful, has established that the teaching of liturgical science should be conducted from theological, historical, spiritual, pastoral, and legal perspectives. The course, following conciliar directions, offers students at ISR a multidimensional examination of this discipline, not limiting it to mere ecological aspects. The approach is primarily theological because the guiding axiom of the study itinerary is “every liturgical error implies a theological error.”
