The course basically consists of an introduction to general pedagogy, as a theory of education, and to general didactics, as a theory of teaching, both necessary for those who assume the responsibility of being a teacher and begin to reflect and act appropriately in the school context, considering subjects, relationships and actions related to the complexity of educational processes. Students will have the opportunity to meet theories and grasp practical implications related to the main pedagogical-didactic issues, with historical notes, current references and references to the main authors of the sector.
The Course should help those who are preparing to carry out the teaching function to understand the main needs of school educational action in its dimensions of the full maturation of the person and of planning, implementing and evaluating the teaching-learning processes, in a path of gradual definition of teaching practice.
