Introduction
The course aims to orient the students to the knowledge of some particularly relevant themes of the History of the Church in Antiquity and the Middle Ages. A more thematic than chronological approach is favoured, ample space is given to the historical context and the history of mentalities, and readings of selected pages from certain textbooks are requested together with an anthology of documents or sources proposed by the professor.
