Introduction
After a historical and methodological introduction on the discipline, the course aims to present the life, works and thought of those authors who between the second and third centuries contributed to the development of Christian thought. Historical-theological lessons will be supplemented by the commented reading of selected texts. The topics covered will be distributed according to the following order which also corresponds to the “treasure” of the final exam of the course.
