Skills and intelligence for the new digital humanism” among the events “Towards the Economy of Francis

From March 26 to 28, 2020, Assisi will host the important event “The Economy of Francesco”, an international meeting of young academics, economists, businessmen and change makers from all over the world summoned by Pope Francis to rethink the economy within the perspective of sustainability, so that the economy of today and tomorrow will be more just, fraternal and inclusive of those who today are excluded.
The preparatory initiatives for this important event, so called Towards the Economy of Francesco are organized at local or regional level, in the form of workshops, laboratories, study seminars, conferences, promoted by organizations, movements, associations, universities, businesses, etc., to listen, reflect and value economic thought and action through meetings and dialogue with economists, executives and businessmen parting from the message of Pope Francis.
Among these preparatory initiatives the Institute of Higher Studies on Women of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum within the Value@Work project and in collaboration with the Prioritalia Foundation, will offer the book presentation and dialogue, "Skills and Intelligence for the New Digital Humanism". The event will begin withing the vision represented in the book "Il lavoro ha un futuro, anzi tre" by Mario Mantovani, with the aim of deepening the impact of new technological paradigms on work, trying to answer the questions: how is work changing from a human, ethical, organizational and economic point of view with the digital transformation? What is the future of work including the future human and ethical implications? The dialogue will be led by Marcella Mallen, President of the Prioritalia Foundation, together with the Institute of Higher Studies on Women. Participants in the dialogue include Mario Mantovani, President of CIDA and Vice President of Manageritalia, representing the managerial community of about 150,000 executives and professionals, as well as Stefania Celsi, member of the Value@Work steering committee. The event will be held in Italian on February 19th from 17:30 to 19:00 at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum.
