Ten Years of Shared Journey: RIU Celebrates the Directors’ Meeting and the General Assembly at Anáhuac University in Querétaro

On October 21, more than 90 representatives from institutions within the RIU network gathered at Anáhuac University in Querétaro to share experiences, reflect on artificial intelligence, and define the next steps in a collaboration that now spans ten years.

These events provided an opportunity to celebrate the progress made over the past ten years and to plan together the next phases of our collaborative work; this decade embodies a history of connections, learning, and projects among sister institutions that share the same educational mission. Celebrating it means recognizing what has been achieved and thanking those who made it possible, with the belief that networking expands the opportunities to contribute to education and society.

Artificial intelligence plays a central role in this edition, and in recognition of its importance for the future of education, the RIU has established a committee of experts to guide this discussion and help participants explore the phenomenon and its implications in greater depth. The goal is to provide criteria and insights that each institution can then apply to its own context.

With a decade of shared history, RIU looks to the future and renews its commitment to an education that combines academic excellence with the whole-person development of the individual.
