The course aims to provide an introduction to the philosophy of English Empiricism as a philosophy of consciousness. The fundamental attitudes of thought that are particularly important for contemporary philosophy (philosophy of science, analytic philosophy, naturalism, psychologism, materialism) will be highlighted. The empirical project will be compared with the fundamental constitution of ideal-realism starting from Kant, Schelling, and Fichte.
