The course aims to help students acquire anatomical and physiological knowledge that helps them better understand the biomedical aspects underlying bioethical issues. After a general introduction to human anatomy and physiology, the course focuses on the reproductive, respiratory, cardiovascular and nervous systems, emphasizing states of consciousness and the diagnosis of death.
