Class beginning dates

Introduction

Theology.
Systematic study of the sacrament of marriage from the dogmatic and liturgical point of view.
Canon Law
The explanation of the canonical dimension of the sacrament of marriage is set within an integrated discourse that can provide the student with a broad and general overview of the subject matter, in the context of a school of theology, in which all teaching must tend towards an interdisciplinary synthesis.
Pastoral
With the guide of the document of the Church, the unit aims to: identify the nature of the marriage pastoral ministry and its most fundamental sectors; analyze the articulation of marriage preparation in its stages (remote, proximate and immediate); develop a methodology to accompany spouses along the path of their lives (stages) with a view to their human and spiritual growth; present the origins of marriage problems (relationship crises), their treatment and their appropriate prevention; present pastoral guidelines for irregular marriages (remarried divorcees, cohabiting couples, same-sex couples…).
