Without compromising the originality of ethical experience and practical reasoning, the course delves into the foundational relationships of ethics in metaphysics in a realist context (in a theoretical and practical sense) and in its different dimensions: theoretical reason and practical reason; theoretical and practical ethical realism; transcendental good and moral good; freedom and nature; reason and value; moral experience, moral reasoning and ultimate explanation; being and duty: interpretations of agere sequitur esse; congruence of duty with the being of the subject; duties, virtues and happiness; immediate-immanent and ultimate-transcendent ontological foundation of moral value and duty; autonomy, heteronomy and theonomy; conditions of a practicable ethic.
