The objective of the course is to reflect from a theological perspective on the pastoral action of the Church and the salvific proclamation it proposes. Through an itinerary that examines ecclesial action throughout history, it aims to provide the student with a renewed awareness of how pastoral service moves within a communal and magisterial journey and never outside it. The course, designed as an extension of ecclesiological understanding, also examines catechetical action in today’s Christian communities with a particular look at the indications of Pope Francis and the Italian Bishops’ Conference.
