The philosophical study of the physical world concerns both the epistemological aspect (knowledge of the world) and the ontological aspect (the nature of the world). In the philosophy of science course, the former aspect is studied, which is closely related to the philosophy of knowledge, but in its application to knowledge of the physical world in its different levels: natural or spontaneous, scientific and philosophical.
