The seminary aims to present the most significant ecclesiological models of the twentieth century, contextualizing them in relation to the texts of the Second Vatican Council on ecclesiology, its contents, method, theological and pastoral perspectives. Through the reading of the texts of the great ecclesiologists of the twentieth century, the richness and peculiarity of each proposed model, its systematic theological characteristics and its incidences or relationships, with an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary dimension, also in dialogue with the reference culture and with the instances of contemporary thought.
