The Ad Excellentiam Call for Applications supports, through Scholarships, talented students enrolled in Degree Programs within the Faculties and the Science and Faith Institute to become leaders capable of positively influencing society, combining academic excellence, spiritual formation, and a Catholic worldview.

This Call for Applications includes, for the Degree Programs of the Faculties of Theology, Philosophy, Bioethics, and Religious Studies, the new Regina Apostolorum Scholarships (providing 100% tuition coverage), the Pontifical Scholarships, and the Good Samaritan Scholarships (providing up to 50% tuition coverage). Finally, it features the Science and Faith Scholarships for the Postgraduate Diploma in Science and Faith from the institute of the same name—an initiative that reflects the mission of the Pontifical Athenaeum to support talented students throughout their academic journey.

To submit your application, you must:

• choose your academic program and start the admission process;

• obtain admission and receive your student ID number;

• fill out the application via the online form.

The financial aid application for the “Regina Apostolorum” Scholarships must be submitted at this link according to the dates listed below:

• for the entire 2026/2027 academic year:

• from 04/01/2026 to 06/30/2026

• from 09/01/2026 to 09/24/2026

• for the PHD program only for the 2026/2027 academic year:

• from 09/25/2026 to 10/15/2026

• for the second semester only for the 2026/2027 academic year:

• from 11/02/2026 to 01/15/2027
