Sister Carina Marin, we help children regain their dignity through the values of Christianity

I am Sister Carina Marin from the Religious Sciences area, I currently work in the parish in the catechetical apostolate where I have highlighted how important it is to be trained and given the necessary tools to carry out in a practical manner what I have learnt in the university.
We Eucharistic Missionary Sisters run a home-family in Colombia with girls and children in conditions of extreme poverty, who live in our house for a certain time until their relatives can overcome their psychosocial and work difficulties and take them back.
During their stay in our home, a team of pedagogical-religious experts take care of them to help them grow with the support of catechism and evangelisation, thanks also to the involvement of the family of origin.
The Parish and School help these children regain their dignity by letting the values of Christianity enter their minds and souls.
All the knowledge and skills I am receiving at the University will have repercussions in all these areas, which is why I thank all of you for the reduced fees I have received thanks to the APRA Study Support, a period of cooperation and support that will be a source of joy to continue for my future mission.
