Dialogue is often the first step toward mutual understanding and constructionof peace. Today there is a growing need for such dialogue and what better place to launch this new initiative than Jerusalem.
These conferences seek to find common ground among the great monotheistic religions— Judaism, Christianity and Islam— in the specific areas of bioethics. In the area of life issues, there is a great deal of common ground that can be shared among these three Abrahamic faiths. A great part ofhumanity is a member of these faiths and more than ever, the advances in biotechnology and medicine are posing new challenges that religion often is not been able to offer an adequate response. These conferences want to bring together leaders in bioethics from these great religions so that trough dialogue and mutual understanding they can bring original contribution to the field.

All participants are individually responsible for obtaining their airplane tickets in and out of Israel. The
date of arrival to Tel-Aviv is Tuesday, December 8. There will be minivans available to transport participants from the International Airport Ben Gurion toward Galilee, departing at 14:00 and 16:00 respectively. Please coordinate your travel arrangements to coincide with these bus schedules.
