Religious Perspectives on Bioethics:
Protecting the environment, the biosphere and biodiversity
The
8th UNESCO Workshop on Bioethics, Multiculturalism and Religion will be held at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Experts from religious (Buddhist, Christian, Confucian, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish) and secular traditions will analyze and discuss “Religious Perspectives on Bioethics: Protecting the environment, the biosphere and biodiversity” from an Interreligious and Multicultural Perspective.
The workshop is held by the
UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights and co-organized with the
Center for Science, Technology, and Society, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Sponsors include the
Ministry of Education, Thailand and the
University of Chicago Medicine (Program on Medicine and Religion).
