EVENT “Our Wishbook: help us in our mission to evangelize culture” #iocicredo

November 15, 2021 3pm-5pm

On campus and live streaming via Social

Rome, November 9, 2021 - On November 15, the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum (APRA) organizes for the first time an Event, - to present, in the presence of faculty, students, employees and relevant stakeholders its Wishbook that, by defining the value context APRA proposes to support, allows our Benefactors to donate according to a clear and well-defined structure. As emphasized in the mission of the University, we intend to disseminate, share, and raise awareness of the principle of Service to the Church to make academic education of excellence accessible. "As a Pontifical Institution, we are motivated by the desire to make present the mystery of Christ in society, imprinting a Christian imprint in today's culture, starting from the specificity of a pontifical academic institution promoted by the Legionaries of Christ. This sense of mission encourages us to continue pushing ourselves to seek new horizons and to cope with the challenges facing the concrete circumstances in which we live." Fr. JosĂ© E. OyarzĂșn, L.C. (APRA Magnificent Rector) Every year, the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum welcomes about 1,200 students: talented young men and women eager to build their knowledge, to strengthen their spiritual life and prepare to be leaders in contemporary society, also thanks to the support of our Pontifical Funds, involving the best professors also through Scholarships for Doctorates and International Researchers. Finally, thanks to the University Scholarships that represent an important support for those talented students who face economic difficulties. These Scholarships make excellent academic programs accessible to all students willing to contribute significantly to the New Evangelization.Supporting students is one of the most meaningful ways to impact on society, one person at a time.   The Event, with free admission after accreditation, will be both on campus (subject to availability) and live streaming on our institutional Facebook and YouTube channels.
