Financial Aid for Students: testimony of one of our students

Peace and Love, My name is Sr Lucia, and I just started the baccalaureate course of study in Philosofy. Yhis is a big challenge for me for many reasons, the economic aspect but also for the difficulty to choose the course of study: why philosofy? Once I’ve been clear with my choose, still there was the economic concern. It’s not easy to sustain a course of study bucause an economic support is necceary to attend the classes and neither my nor my Institutions can afford. So, with the will to start my studies, I spoke about my problem with the dean of the Faculty of Philosofy who listened to me with as a father and told me about the possibility to apply for a reduction of the academic fees. With my big surprise the Atheneum granted to me a tax reduction of 40%, a very importan aid for me. And now here I am, student of Philosofy, carrying out a project that seemed impossible to me. Thanks to this important financial aid I could started my studies and buy a computer which is necessary to attend the classes and complete my homeworks I hope to continue the course of study with the same enthusiasm and determination that I feel today, and to bear fruit above all for myself, and also in the future for all the people I will have to deal with.
